ZMA FOUNDATION PRESENTS

Dear Friends of Edgemont:
We hope you will help support Edgemont’s ZMA Foundation through a sponsorship of our second annual Gala & Auction, A Night at the Races! Please submit your completed sponsorship form by May 1.   

What is the ZMA FOUNDATION?  

ZMA Foundation was formed by two Edgemont parents, Dina Puccio-D’Amico and Jen Young. The mission of ZMA is to raise awareness of the mental health risks and challenges facing our youth and parents, and actively contribute to suicide prevention education and efforts within the Edgemont Community and schools. ZMA was created after a beloved EHS sophomore, Zack Angus, took his own life in May 2022. ZMA not only stands for Zack’s initials, Zachary Markham Angus, but also represents the meaning behind their foundation: Zack Made us Aware. In it’s first year ZMA implemented several initiatives within the Edgemont community including parent workshops, a health and wellness action team, mental health first aid training programs for parents, teachers and staff, and a peer-to-peer mentoring program for students at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School.

When and Where is the event?  

A Night at the Races will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 starting at 6:30 pm at The Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester.  

How many people will attend the event?  

We are expecting up to two hundred guests!
